Auction Report – 6th February 2016

Badger Farm auction 6 Feb 2016
Badger Farm Auction 6 Feb 2016

It looked like and felt like our best auction ever. 31 lots sold for £30 or over! A few months ago we were talking about 20 selling for £25 or over. You can see the top twelve lots below.

The auction room was crowded for both the viewing and the auction itself (as shown above). We were pleased to see higher quality lots and many less lots not selling.

400 lots is enough for our auction format. The room won’t take anymore lots, tables, seats or people. We do want better lots and buyers with the cash to bid for them. There was definitely a bit more of both at this auction.

Our brief survey of what brought you to the auction showed that our web site and Facebook promotion is going well. Please share our web pages and Facebook posts with your friends. You are also spreading the good news about our auction by talking to people about it. Thank you for doing this.

It was our best auction ever with the highest total sales and the tea shop smashed its record too! Thank you for selling, buying and eating lots of our delicious homemade cakes!

Our next auction is at Itchen Abbas Village Hall on the 5th March. We will be back at Badger Farm on the 2nd April.

May the hammer be with you!
