  3. 23” Bates of Westcliffe bicycle. 5. Viscount Road Bike serial no. D24179 (possibly 1979). 21″ or 53cm frame. Original supplier Jim Guard Cycle Specialists of Southampton. It has steel forks not the aluminium “Death Forks”. Alloy rims 27 1/4″ rims fitted with Michelen World Tour 27 1/8″ tyres in good condition. Has a small saddle bag containing a basic repair kit including four alloy tyre levers and a dumbell spanner. It is a ride away bike that needs some TLC.

As you can see in the next photo it has been “improved” by its owners over the years with a variety of components.
