Auction Report 7th May 2016

The promise of good weather affected the auction attendance but we still had over 360 lots. The top ten are pictured below. The toys sold well, also a Murano stick and a Chinese vase attracted excellent bidding.

Notable toy lots included seven Hornby Pullman Coaches for £70. Star Wars Figures also for £70, Tri-ang Minic Motorway for £50 and a collection of 1960s Dinky and Corgi toys for £40.

We are back at Itchen Abbas on the 4th June with a cycle section. On the 11th June we will be on site at the Alresford Music Festival selling musical instruments.

  1. 7th May was not a good auction for sellers. But buyers got a lot for their money. Better luck next time.

    • It was a big contrast to last month’s auction and no one knows what next month’s auction will be like. Items that did attract the buyers attention, such as vintage toys and a Chinese vase sold very well.
