    • Please can you tell me the size of the frame, what year the bike is, and what does it mean that the suspension preload adjustment has seized. I have looked at reviews and am looking for a comfy hybrid bike..am 5, 7 tall.

      • The frame size is 17″ centre of bottom bracket to top of seat tube or 56cm 22″ using the traditional measurement of centre of bottom bracket to horizontal intersection of the top tube centre on the steering tube. According to this size table its about your size. And Evans say 17-18″ hybrid is 5′ 5″ to 5′ 9″.

My research suggests the bike is from 2005.

It means you can’t adjust the damper setting in the forks. The current setting seems fine.

  18. Dawes Wildcat mountain bike refurbished with new brake and gear cables and housings. New Shimano sealed bottom bracket and seat bolt. Shimano Biopace chain rings, Reynolds 500 frame, Reynolds 531 forks. Lubricated and set up. Ready to ride.
