Please post your lots for Sat 7th November auction

If you are bringing lots for sale on Saturday 7th November at Badger Farm Community Centre, please upload photos and descriptions of the items on this page. We get hundreds of visitors to this page prior to the auction.

It is not a requirement for submitting lots to the auction but it helps promote the auction in general and your lots in particular. It is free. Please upload a good quality image and a short description using the comments section at the bottom of this page.

Please read these guidelines for descriptions and adding images of your lots. Your lot(s) have to be approved before they will become visible on this page. Please contact us if they do not appear within 24 hours.

Please do not upload your items until you have discussed them with Claire by emailing bookings@auctionsinaday.co.uk.

Visitors to this page please note:

  • The auctioneers have not seen the lots.
  • The descriptions and photos are provided by the sellers.
  • There is no guarantee they will be for sale until they are delivered on the morning of the auction.
  • This is not a catalogue.
  • We normally sell between 350 and 450 lots which all arrive on the day.

  1. Really pretty old, possibly Victorian Pill Box or Snuff Pot, Hallmark is rubbed away but can still be seen on item.
Gold in colour but not tested.

  2. Large collection of Miscellaneous including lighters, tin pots and tea caddy.

Auctioneers note: Will this be this month’s super lot?

  3. Butchers block kitchen island. Useful little table with chopping block surface, drawer and two shelves, on wheels, Good condition.

  4. Decorative cast iron fire grate in good condition. There is a make-do basket and ash tray to go with this, but you will probably want to pick up a new one from B&Q, a fireplace shop, or more cheaply at an architectural salvage yard.

  5. Vintage Atomic Magazine Rack !
Mid 20th Century ball-footed magazine rack in what is now known as the atomic style. Nice fashionable example in good condition for a genuine vintage item with a lovely honey shade to the wood.. It measure 15.75 x 8.5 x 11.25 inches.

  6. Small bronze figurine of Rodin’s The Kiss.
A lovely piece depicting Rodin’s Lovers produced by the traditional lost wax or hotcast method in solid bronze. Intricate detail makes this statuette a joy to behold and very desirable to own and display. Mounted securely on a solid piece of marble it measures 15 cms in height, the base measuring 12 cms diameter, it weight 1.5 kilos. A truly collectable piece in perfect condition.

  7. Vintage Single Oak School Desk, First half of 20th Century, very good quality and condition, sturdy and stable, but with all the desirable patina of age and use. Medium oak, rich colour, very attractive. Practical and usable either by an adult or a child. Has large internal capacity, wood levers to raise lid from its usual incline to a horizontal surface, pen slots on top and on inside, and of course, an inkwell.

  8. The Drake Silver Medal Map limited edition issued by the National Maritime Museum in 1977. Etched in Sterling Silver. It is exactly the same diameter as the original but twice as thick.
