2020 got off to an excellent start with another well attended auction of around 200 people viewing and 100 staying for the sale.
It produced a top twelve this month, twelve lots sold for £35 or over. Some real antiques came top: a working HMV Gramaphone with a large horn and a pair of stage coach lamps sold for £55 a lot. Some more recent retro did well: a Jaspar Conran clock for £50 and a mannequin bedecked with jewellery sold for £45.
Toy trains, hat pins, medals, carbide lamp, submariners binoculars, Wembley Lion, Observer books also made it into the top twelve. See images below for expanded descriptions and hammer prices.
