The final auction of 2014 was one of our best this year. Several items sold for over £50. A jewellery box containing watches, jewellery and perhaps a heavy gold chain sold for £510. Along with cavalry boots, a box of silver items, writing slopes, tea caddies, a collection of fountain pens. These are shown below.
In addition there were another 17 lots that sold for between £25 and £50 pounds including: Hornby and Triang Railways items, copper work boxes, a boot scraper, a clarinet, cast metal American money boxes, jerry cans and car badges, signalling lamps, mirrors, Strike Right fishing reels, a folding top hat, Victorian easy chair and a box of tools.
The auction was very well attended for a Christmas shopping Saturday. We hope you enjoyed the mince pies. We wish you all the best for Christmas and the New Year.We look forward to seeing you and your lots on the 7th February 2015 at Badger Farm Community Centre, where we are sure to be surprised again.
