Another month, another day, another auction, and an auction where over 65% or the items found new homes. Unlike the bigger auction houses we do our best to sell most items combining them into job lots where necessary. We don’t see the items until the day so we don’t expect to sell everything but we will always have a go.
My favourite this month was this huge job lot of craft items:
This month we had our new extended cafe with plenty of cakes, but also sandwiches. We’ll be doing that again in June so why not have some lunch while you’re browsing.
We also tried out our new Buyer Reports giving buyers photos of all the items they’ve purchased during and after the auction. They seemed to go down well so come and see us if you’d like to try this next time.
We’re now open for bookings for our next auction on Saturday 6 June at Badger Farm Community Centre (SO22 4QB).
