Not sure what your items are worth — or whether they’re worth selling at all? We offer free, no-obligation valuations to help you decide.
We run monthly auctions across Winchester and Hampshire, selling thousands of items for private sellers, executors, and families clearing properties. That experience means we can give you a realistic, honest view of what your items are likely to achieve — not just what they might fetch on a good day.
Two ways to get a valuation:
Send us photos. Use the form below to upload pictures of your items. We’ll come back to you with an honest assessment and a recommendation on the best way to sell.
Book a house visit. If you have a larger collection, a room to clear, or a property to sell from, we can come to you. We cover Winchester and the surrounding Hampshire area. We’ll go through everything with you, advise on what’s worth selling and how, and handle the rest.
After a valuation, there’s no pressure and no commitment. If you’d like to proceed, we’ll agree the best route — whether that’s our monthly in-person auction, an online timed sale, or a combination of both. Items that don’t sell at auction can often be moved through other channels too; we’ll advise on what makes sense for each item.Got items to sell? We can help you sort through your items, see what they’re worth and advise on the best ways to sell them.

Please note that we’re unable to provide valuations for clothing or large items such as furniture.

Common Questions
How much does a valuation cost?
Nothing. Valuations are completely free and there’s no obligation to sell with us afterwards.
Do you do house visits?
Yes. If you have a collection to value, a room to clear, or a property to sell from, we can come to you. We cover Winchester and the surrounding Hampshire area. Get in touch to arrange a convenient time.
What kinds of items do you sell?
We sell a wide range across our monthly auctions — antiques, collectables, jewellery, ceramics, glassware, books, tools, garden items, art, and general household goods. If you’re not sure whether something is suitable, just send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly.
What items aren’t suitable for your auctions?
We’re unable to take clothing. For large items such as furniture, get in touch and we’ll advise — some pieces work well in our auctions, others are better suited to different routes, and we’ll tell you which applies to yours.
Can I drop items off before the auction?
In most cases, items are brought to the venue on the morning of the auction. If you have a larger lot or specific circumstances, contact us to discuss — we’re flexible where we can be.
What assurances do I have before handing over items for online sale?
We’ll agree everything with you in writing before any items leave your hands — what’s being sold, the reserve price (if any), the commission rate, and the timeline. You retain ownership until the point of sale. We’ve run auctions for over five years and have an established base of regular buyers, your items are in safe hands.
What happens if my items don’t sell?
Unsold items can be turned into job lots and can go into our next in-person auction, giving them a second chance in front of our regular buyer base. We’ll always discuss the options with you rather than leaving you with items you didn’t expect back.
