Itchen Abbas Auction 4 March 2017
Itchen Abbas Auction 4 March 2017
As you can see above the auction was well attended and 430 lots were offered for sale. They were a real mixture. The unusual 1935 cricket ball trophy saw bidders raising their hands in true Dickie Bird style. The outdoor theme continued with an early Kettner shooting stick selling for £35 and binoculars going for £55.

Quality artwork featured again with two hand painted miniatures selling for £80 and a 1920’s oil painting with a pastoral subject for £65.

We had a fantastic collection of glassware, ranging from a spectacular eye-catching piece of artwork to Tiffany vases.

Jewellery and watches proved popular with the bidders – an elegant Hunter’s watch sold for £90 and a Vivienne Westwood watch went for £50.

We are already taking bookings for April’s auction at Badger Farm Community Centre on Saturday, 1st April. Please email bookings@auctionsinaday.co.uk to reserve a space.
