We’re getting ready for our next auction on Saturday 2nd May. We’ll be at Weeke Community Centre in Winchester (SO22 6HG).
We have a few new subscribers so if you haven’t been before we sell all sorts of items from household goods, collectibles, vintage and antique products, electricals and normally quite a few just unusual and sometimes quite odd items!
It’s all done in a day, Sellers bring their items along in the morning – it’s good to book up in advance to make sure there’s space. We give them a form to fill out with a description of what they’re selling. We then photograph and number the items and open for viewing at 12:30pm.
The auction itself starts at 2pm and we normally finish around 4/4:30pm. We settle up immediately afterwards. We generate sales reports and have an online catalogue on the day. Most people attend in-person but we can do commission bids as well.

One advantage of attending in-person is that you can try our lovely selection of homemade cakes. Also, from this month, we’ll have a selection of sandwiches available as well as teas and coffee.
It’s normally a fun day out, a chance to meet some friendly people and maybe unearth a bargain or two.
