You can see many of the excellent items in the Opening auction for 2017 post and more items have been added since it was first posted. Several of these should sell for over £100.
All the tables and floor space has been fully booked. You can expect more lots than recent auctions, nearer or exceeding 400. The lots you can see now are just the tip of an iceberg auction! Please avoid the stormy weather and come along to the auction this Saturday. Who knows what you may find.
We will as ever have our homemade cakes plus refreshments. The car parking is free (Don’t forget to sign your car in at the entrance to the Community Centre). And you can always get some shopping done at Sainsburys before or after the auction. Don’t forget they have some cash machines in their wall 🙂 .
Viewing is from 12:30 and the auction will start at 2pm. We look forward to seeing you.
Bar of course any high value items you would like to tempt us with.

Our first auction of 2015 was well attended. There were around 100 people in the room bidding on 360 lots and possibly 200 attended during viewing. The pick of our lots was a Half Sovereign, an amber necklace, a vintage bar billiard set, model railway carriages and trains, Mamod steam truck, Tanglewood electric guitar and Kustom amp, a nursing chair and Tiger Tim’s Weekly” Bagatelle Game. You can see the lots and selling prices below.
We have the best home made cake and we are also the best value auction in Hampshire, charging only 10% commission for buyers and sellers. Other auctions have commissions in the range of 15-24% including VAT. We look forward to seeing you and your lots on the 7th March 2015 at Itchen Abbas Village Hall. What surprises will there be?
