We have 29 tables booked for the auction on Saturday. If you have something exceptional and not too big to sell, please contact Claire on 01962 734941 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Otherwise we will be back on the 7th November at Badger Farm. You can book a table immediately after this auction.
You can see a few of the 400 plus lots on Lots for sale 3rd October 2015. They include, just in time for Halloween, a resin anatomical skeleton. If you have booked and want to attract buyers for your lots, please post pictures and descriptions of your lots, on the Lots for sale 3rd October 2015 page.
It looks like being a busy auction, please leave yourselves enough time to view the items on the day. Viewing starts at 12:30. Auction at 2pm.
We get hundreds of visitors to this page prior to the auction. If you are bringing lots for sale on Saturday 3rd October at Badger Farm Community Centre, please upload photos and descriptions of the items on this page. It is not a requirement for submitting lots to the auction but it helps promote the auction in general and your lots in particular. It is free. So please upload a good quality image and a short description using the comments section at the bottom of this page.
Thank you for attending the cycle auction at what was another pleasant day in Itchen Abbas. 17 cycles were listed on the web site prior to the auction and another 13 arrived on the day. Below you can see the best sellers. By yesterday 70% of the bikes had sold including some post auction deals, at the general auction and a bike that didn’t arrive on the day was sold on Sunday!
Our next cycle auction will be in 2016. We are thinking about an early spring one in Winchester on a different date to the general auction, followed by one at Itchen Abbas on the 4th June. If you see someone has an unused bike or pile of parts in a garage or shed, please tell them about the auction.
Please give us your feedback about the auction by commenting on this page.
16 bikes are for sale but expect more to arrive on the day. They range from some revived 70-80s bikes through to current cycles. Today a little used and just a couple years old Airnimal Chameleon Folding Bike fitted with Shimano 105 components and lightweight EasyMotion Sport electric bike were both added to the list. There are a couple of good looking mountain bikes from Kona and Trek. And of course the 1930s tandem built by JA Grose.
In addition there are 23 lots of parts and accessories including a Blackburn Mag Trackstand turbo trainer.
Please you the links below to see photo of the lots.
The weather forecast is good. Viewing starts at 10:30. Auction at 12:00.
